Dawn R. Yoder

Dawn R. Yoder, age 76, of Meadville; passed away on Tuesday March 27, 2013, at U.P.M.C Hamot Hospital, Erie, PA. She was born July 3, 1936 in Meadville; the daughter of Ernest and Melba (Prall) Ruby. Dawn was married to Wallace D. Yoder on August 8, 1974, he survives her. She was a member of the Sunnyside Mennonite Church. Dawn is remembered as a lady who always put others before herself. She loved her gardens. She is survived, in addition to her husband Wally, by two daughters Kathi Zimmer of Pittsburgh, and Debra Runkle of Denver, Colorado; and three sons, Jason Gleason of Pittsburgh, Jeff Gleason of Atlanta Georgia, and Randy Yoder of Conneautville. A sister-in-law Marlene Hough of Harmonsburg, and a brother William Ruby of Florida. Also surviving are nine Grandchildren: Darcy Luby, Dianna Dahl, Jessica Heeringa, Zachary Zimmer, Justin Runkle, Jolene Yoder, Charlene Proctor, Christine Palmer, and Justine Hagge. Also surviving Dawn are four great grandchildren, and two nieces; Kim and Stephanie. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Doug Ruby. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11AM at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church, with Russ Richardson , Pastor, Officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sunnyside Mennonite Church 12981 Foust Road Conneaut Lake.
