Deborah "Debbie" Eckert

Deborah L. Eckert, age 64, of Meadville passed away November 4, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.  She was born on July 20, 1955 in Meadville, PA to the late Almon and Dorothy (Loper) Johnston.  She married Walter J. Eckert in 1983.  He survives.

Debbie graduated from Meadville High School.  She worked at Tamarack Packaging for a short time before becoming a housewife.

She enjoyed her two dogs and vacationing with her family in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Walter of Meadville; one son, Brandon Eckert of Meadville; one sister, Sharon Smith of Saegertown and one nephew, Todd Smith of Saegertown.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
