Debra Masone

Debra Ann (Paglia) Masone, 60, of Meadville passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2020.  Debbie was born on January 14, 1960 in New Castle, PA, to the late Gregory V. Paglia and the late Mary Jane (Staph) Paglia.

After graduating from Union High School in 1978, she went on to study at Youngstown State University. Debbie married James V. Masone on October 24, 1981, in a Catholic ceremony.

Debbie enjoyed a successful career serving the Meadville area as a manager at Montgomery Ward and Erie Bank. Throughout her career, Debbie earned various sales awards as a top associate.

Debbie dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Kara (Mark) Chludzinski of Waterford, PA; two sons, James (Kim) Masone, Jr. of Bradford, PA; and Richard (Melissa) Masone of Hudson, FL; three granddaughters Isla Chludzinski, Elise Chludzinski, and Lillian Masone, and a grandson Shawn Chludzinski.

In addition to her immediate family, Debbie is also survived by a host of close family including her sister, mother-in-law, two sister-in-laws, four brother-in-laws and many special nieces and nephews.

Debbie was passionate about her family and friends. When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her gardens. Her pride and joy are her grandchildren with whom she enjoyed baking and making crafts.

A social Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
