Dennis Howard Doggett

Dennis Howard Doggett, 36, of Liberty Street, Erie, PA, passed away on August 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1978 in Meadville, PA the son of Jerry Irwin and Carol Smith. He had been a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed spending time with his children. Dennis was a very hard worker. Dennis is survived by three daughters; Emily Desko of Erie, PA, Tori Doggett of Corry, PA and their mother Gina Desko of Erie, PA, and a daughter Rebecca Yarnell of Saegertown, PA, two sisters; Vicky Doggett of Pittsburgh, PA and Brenda Doggett of Erie, PA, a brother; Daniel Doggett of Harmonsburg, PA, His grandmother; Janet Smith of Atlantic, PA, two uncles; Buck Smith and Shawn Smith both of Washington State, three aunts; Robin Andrews of Atlantic, PA, Susan Acel of Meadville, PA and Linda Davis of Idaho, several nieces and nephews and one great-niece and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Rapple and his grandfather, Kenneth Smith. Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday from 12 noon until time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA. The Rev. Homer Williams of the Evangelical Church of North America will officiate. Burial will be in the Mumford Cemetery.
