Dennis Globosky

Dennis James Globosky, age 68, of Meadville, PA passed away at home on January 5, 2023.  He was born on September 25, 1954 in Greensburg, PA to the late James and Nancy (Lape) Globosky.

Dennis was a State Trooper for the New Mexico State Police force.  He also worked as a security officer at Meadville Medical Center.  He was the manager of the CYS Club in Erie, PA.

Dennis was a lifelong musician.  He had several bands, the most successful of which was “Denny James and The Whiskey River Band.”  He was truly inspired by music, heavily the Beatles, with Paul McCartney being his icon.  He was also a bibliophile- as he collected books and loved to read and craved knowledge.  He also loved to travel, spending a great deal of time in Europe and Russia.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Edinger and her husband, Laine Jr. of Hampton, VA and his son, Aaron Globosky and his wife, Gilbete Lemieux of Meadville, PA; 5 grandchildren, Devon Chambers, Adele Globosky, Veronica Globosky, Gabrielle Globosky and Mason Edinger and his brother, Michael Globosky of Erie, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  More information to come from the immediate family.
