Dessie Oster

Dessie Marie L. Oster, 90, of Meadville passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Marquette Hospice House. Dessie had worked at Woolworths, Avtex and C&J’s where she retired. Dessie enjoyed her dog, Sparky, dancing, crocheting, working in her flower beds and spending time with family and her best friend, Clara Sheakley. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles, her parents and sister, Anna Mae Eddy. Dessie is survived by her daughter, Ruth Graham of Kittanning, PA; her grandson, Randy Graham Jr. and wife, Jamie, of Ellwood City, PA; great grandchildren, Luke and Addison; her sister, LaVina Hunt and her husband, Bill; her brothers, Eugene Stearns and wife, Mona, LeRoy Stearns and spouse, John Fulmer, Sonny Kougher and wife, Linda; and nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Per Dessie’s wishes, no service is planned. Donations may be made in her name to Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd, Meadville, PA 16335 or Marquette Hospice House, N Wayland Rd, Meadville, PA 16335.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335.
