Diane Fritz

Diane E. Fritz, age 61, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away suddenly on Saturday April 1, 2023 at UPMC Hamot.  She was born on June 18, 1962 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John and Ruth (Steinbeck) Balkovec.  She married Michael Fritz 34 years ago.  He survives.

Diane was a 1980 graduate of Keystone Oaks High School in Mt. Lebanon, PA.  She was a very active member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church. Diane was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.  She was known and loved by many in the community.  She was always willing to help anyone.

In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her sister, Margaret Dilla of Dormont, PA and her brother, Jack Balkovec of Coraopolis, PA; her four-legged faithful companion, Cassie and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday April 4, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2 ^nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.  The Altar Rosary Society will hold prayers at 6:30 pm.  Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 11:00 am at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church.  Burial will immediately follow at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. 9 ^th St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 or Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd., Meadville, PA 16335.
