Dolores Hayek

Dolores Ann (Dolly) Wible Hayek, age 90, of Meadville, PA left this world to be with our Lord God in Heaven on June 5, 2021.

Dolores was born in Mount Washington, PA on January 23, 1931.  She was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna Wible.  She had been married to the late George F. Hayek for 30 years.              She was of the Protestant Faith. She graduated from Redstone High School in 1949.

Dolores worked for the Veterans Administration in Washington, D.C., Channellock, Moody and Associates, Mid-Penn Telephone Co., National Tel-Tronics, Brake Shoe, Galvin Jackson and Starr and the American Cancer Society.  Dolores was a cancer survivor.

Survivors are a brother, Robert Wible of Casa Grande, AZ; a sister, Ruth Jarosik and her husband, John of Enfield, CT and a brother, William Wible of Sharon, PA; and a great granddaughter, Evelyn Hayek. She is also survived by her longtime friend, Robert Buchignani of Pittsburgh, PA.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by two daughters, Louise Hayek and Terri Hayek and a son, Richard D. Hayek; a sister, Norma Inks and a brother, Edward Wible.

As per Dolores’s wishes there will be no calling hours or service.  She will be buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
