Donald "Bones" Clair Wasson

Donald Clair “Bones” Wasson, age 86, of Meadville, PA passed away at home on December 12, 2019.  He was born on June 16, 1933 in Hayfield Township to the late Arthur H. and Bertha (Cole) Wasson.  He married Mary R. Miller in November of 1964.  She survives.

Clair worked as a carpenter for Leveto’s for over fifty years.

He was a member of St. Agatha’s Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Debra Kaylor and her husband, Rick of Sandy Lake, PA; one son, Donald Wasson and his wife, Jessie of Meadville, PA and 2 grandchildren, Sophia and Connor Wasson.

Clair was preceded in death by a grandchild, Carter Wasson and his sister and brother-in- law, Leola and Ralph Copeland.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.  At a later date, a private burial will take place at Saegertown Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the nurses of Meadville Medical Center and Hospice of Crawford County for their services and care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd., Meadville, PA 16335.
