Donald O'Day

Don O’Day, age 86, of Saegertown, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 12, 2021.  He was born in Meadville, PA on January 15, 1935 to the late Arthur and Mabel (Peters) O’Day.  He married Sherry Quoresimo on November 8, 1958.  She survives.

Don was employed by Talon for 37 years.  His first love was God and his family but over the years Don’s love of nature and wildlife was his passion, which was evident as he captured the beauty of God’s creations through his wood carvings and wildlife paintings.  In recent years, many of his paintings were on display at Meadville Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sherry of Saegertown, PA; three daughters, Brenda O’Day of Meadville, PA, Bonnie O’Day Boardman of Meadville, PA and Debra O’Day Curry of Meadville, PA; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and two brothers, Bernard O’Day of Meadville, PA and John O’Day and his wife, Marlene of Meadville, PA.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
