Donna Duffy

Donna Louise Duffy, age 63, passed away at her residence Thursday, January 30, 2020 surrounded by her family.  Donna worked as an Attorney for the Department of Environmental Protection as supervisor for the Northwest Regional Office.  After she retired at age 60, she worked long hours volunteering for many Meadville non-profits.  She was also active in taking and teaching yoga.

She leaves behind many friends and family.  Her husband, Timothy Hecei of nearly 40 years of marriage survives.  They lived husband and wife and many dogs in Vermont, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio.

Donna is survived by her mother, Nancy Duffy; four sisters, Karen Brocker and her husband, Kyle, Maureen Duffy, Patricia Kramer and her husband, Jim and Doreen Duffy; one brother, John Duffy and his wife, Patricia; nieces and nephews, Regina Hollibush and her husband, Shawn and their children, Jackson, Sienna and Quinn, Brenda Sullins and her husband, Sean and their children, Sophia and Landon, Caitlin Duffy, Michelle Duffy, Nathan Kramer, Heather and Greg Smith and their daughter, Lexie, John Hecei  and Adam Duffy; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Rick and Patti Hecei, Tom and Kay Hecei and Sandy Hecei.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Duffy; sister, Eileen Duffy; nephew, Adam Hecei, her father in law, Joseph Hecei and mother in law, Joyce Hecei.

A private burial and many, many campfires with friends and family will be had in Vermont, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
