Donna Marie Glover

Donna Marie (Porfilio) Glover passed away on January 7, 2020 after fighting a long illness.

She was born in Meadville on April 7, 1945, the daughter of Dominick and Elizabeth “Betty” (Roach) Porfilio.

She was a 1963 graduate of Meadville High School. She worked at Talon Zipper Inc., Avtex Industries, and became a stay at home mother when she gave birth to her only daughter, Silver.

Donna loved her family so much and would do anything for them.  In her later years, she enjoyed playing Jigsaw Puzzle games on the internet and watching the Hallmark Channel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominick and Betty Porfilio; a brother, Guy Porfilio; a sister, Mary Porfilio and a nephew, Brian (Butchie) Shoffner.

Donna is survived by her husband, David Glover, to whom she was married to for almost 40 years; daughter, Silver Glover and her significant other, Ryan Wagner; two step-sons, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Glover and Darryl (April) Glover; two wonderful sisters, Rose Porfilio and Janet (Dean) Taylor. She is also survived by a special nephew, Nic Porfilio, who she helped raise and three beautiful nieces, Theresa Frangione, Christina (Robert) Warnock, and Stephanie (Tom) McCaffrey; four great nieces and nephews, Richelle Porfilio, Nichole Porfilio, Anthony Frangione, and Phillip Warnock and she had multiple grandchildren and great grand children, Marissa (Jay) Doane, Timothy Glover, Kay-Anna Glover, Megan Glover, Hannarae Glover, Emberlynn Doane, Samantha Doane, and Emiliee Doane. She also had a very special relationship with Lily Wagner, whom she loved as her grandchild.
