Doreen Marie Roch O’Day, age 59 of Meadville, PA passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1957 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late Howard “the coach” Roch who was a World War II Veteran and Loretta Lynn Roch. She married Mark I. O’Day in 2001. He survives. Doreen was a member of the First Christian Church in Meadville. She loved donating to the Veteran’s and collecting Butterflies and Hippie items. She enjoyed baking, swimming, playing with the grandchildren and picnics. She loved the time she spent fishing with her son Marty. Doreen was a generous, sweet loving person. She could make you smile and when you were having a bad day, she could make it disappear. Her hugs were special. She enjoyed taking walks and planting flowers, and her favorite color was blue and her favorite flowers were the Shedaisies and carnations. When dandilions would be in bloom, she would wait until they seeded, and then would blow the seedlings into the air as you would make a wish. Doreen was a Christian in faith and believed in the Lord and that the He had died for our sins. She will be missed by her loving husband, children and grandchildren as well as her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Mark I. O’Day of Meadville, her son: Martin James Woodcock II of Meadville, two daughters: Sunshine Luv Knapp and her husband Daniel Knapp of Duncansville, PA and Ellen May Geiger Blystone of Pittsfield, PA, seven grandchildren: Octavin, Lincoln, Quentin, Jacob, Tayla, Alexzandria and Lucas. She is survived by a niece: Loretta Lynn Estep, and two nephews: Jay Ender and Michael Ender, a sister-in-law: Debbie Anthony and her family of Meadville. Doreen is further survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. In addition to her parents, Doreen was preceded in death by a sister: Dottie Estep.
