Doris Campbell

Doris Jean (Sprankle) Campbell, age 85, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday May 26, 2026. She was born on June 19, 1940 in Indiana County, PA to the late Doyle Emerson and Jennett McKenzie (Bland) Sprankle. She married David A. Campbell. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2017.

Doris was a 1959 graduate of Oakmont High School in Oakmont, PA. She worked at both Cutters and Dahlkempers over the years. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church, where she was making lots of new friends and enjoyed their company.

Doris loved playing BINGO, spending time with her friends at Life NWPA and building puzzles and coloring with her neighbors.

She is survived by her children, Pam Carey of Amarillo, TX, Lois Campbell and her husband, Brian of Meadville, PA, Wilma Harry and her husband, John of Saegertown, PA, Bill Greenawald and his wife, Brenda of Meadville, PA and Jeffrey Greenawald and his significant other, Ashley Lambert of Hartstown, PA; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and her sister, Dora Jennett Pickel of Pittsburgh, PA.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Don Pickel and Rick Campbell.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
