Doris Miller

Doris J. (Sindlinger) Miller passed away at home Tuesday evening, May 31, 2022. Her daughter, granddaughters, and sister were by her side.

Doris was married to Henry (Hank) Miller who preceded her in death in 2017 days after celebrating their 63 ^rd anniversary.

Doris was born August 31, 1931, the daughter of Charles and Sarah Sindlinger. She graduated from Linesville High School. She received her RN Diploma from Meadville City Hospital School of Nursing and enjoyed a rewarding nursing career most notably as Crisis Supervisor. In retirement Doris was a substitute school nurse in several area districts. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Jill Miller Hughes (Greg) of Conneaut Lake, twin granddaughters, Alexis and Mackenzie Hughes, her sister, Sally Kelihar and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Jan Maureen and brothers, Clyde, Chuck, Jack and Kenny Sindlinger.

The service for Doris will be held Saturday July 9, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, Meadville, PA. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am, with the memorial beginning at 11 am. The Reverend Brian K. Jensen will officiate.
