Dorothy L. Christie, age 71, of Jamestown, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at UPMC-Hamot in Erie, PA with her family at her bedside. Dorothy was born June 27, 1944 in Tarentum, PA the daughter of the late William A. Jentgens and Helen M. Conwell Jentgens. She married Phillip M. Christie Sr. and had celebrated 54 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2015. Dorothy was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and spending time fishing. She absolutely loved the time she spent with her grandchildren, and was especially proud of her grandson, Michael Christie who is serving aboard the USS Harry Truman, who now has lost two very important people in his life while serving his country.             Dorothy is survived by a daughter: Teresa Ann Haas of Meadville, three sons: Timothy Allen Christie and his wife BillieSue of Hartstown, PA, Phillip Manuel Christie Jr. and his wife Judy of Jamestown, PA, and Ronald Joseph Christie of Dallas, Texas, 16 grandchildren: Timothy A. Christie Jr., Brian K. Christie, Michael B. Christie, Sarah D. Christie, Amanda R. Beckwith, Jason A. Haas, Jerrod P. Henry, William A. Haas, Angela M. Haas, Ashley N. Diehl, Phillip M. Christie III, Bambi Dawn Christie, Andrea L. Christie, Ronald J. Christie Jr., Crystal Nicole Christie, and Kimberly Hordern, a step-grandson: Michael A. Beekman, six great-grandchildren: Alexis L. Cox, Jasmine N. Wilson, Jason “OB” Wilson, Colton D. Kelly, Savannah Rodrigues, and Skyler Christie, a sister, Elizabeth Jean “Herk” Beckwith of Cochranton, PA, two brothers: Donald Jentgens and David Jentgens both of Tarentum, PA, and a very close nephew; Michael Beckwith of Erie, PA and a very close niece; Tracy Cutshall of Cochranton, PA.
