Dorothy Litke

Dorothy L. (Albaugh) Litke, age 96, of Crawford County Care Center, formerly of Vernon Township passed away November 28, 2019.  She was born in Meadville March 24, 1923 to the late John J. Albaugh and Frances (Emig) Albaugh.  She married Walter Litke September 15, 1945.  He preceded her in death February 24, 2004.

Dorothy was a homemaker.  She loved babies and enjoyed spoiling and babysitting her grandchildren and her “adopted” families.

She was a member of St. Agatha Church.

Dorothy is survived by four sons; Larry Litke and his wife, Becky of Panama City Beach, FL, Tom Litke and his wife, Marla of Parrish, FL, Gene Litke and his wife, Betty of Guys Mills, PA, Philip Litke of Covington, LA and daughter-in-law, Dee Litke of Noblesville, IN; nine grandchildren, Mindy Collins (Darren), Adam Litke (Karen), Andrew Litke( Valarie), Paul Litke (Susie), Ann Litke (Kitra), Matthew Litke ,Sarah Ketler(Brett), Erin Litke and Alex Litke; eight great-grandchildren, Olivia Collins, Masen Collins, Aaron Litke, Gavin Litke, Quinlan Litke, Rhys Litke, Pete Litke and Lucy Litke and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her son, Ron; a great-grandson, Elliot Litke; brothers, Martin, Bernard, Victor, Lawrence (Oscar), John and Francis and sister, Marie Mathers.

Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA.  A service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Andrew Boyd officiating.  A private burial will take place at St. Agatha Cemetery.
