Dorothy M. Moren

Dorothy M. Moren, age 83, of Meadville, passed away at the Crawford County Care Center January 11, 2019.  She was born October 14, 1935 in Meadville to the late Jerome and Laura Mae Reisinger Cusker.  She married Vernon Moren June 9, 1956. He preceded her in death August 7, 1985.  Dorothy attended Randolph School in Guys Mills.  She was a homemaker and babysat many children over the years.  She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church. Dorothy enjoyed painting and she loved her dogs and cats. Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Michelle Moren of Meadville, PA; one son, Bill Moren of Guys Mills, PA; a granddaughter, Amber Muma; a grandson Scott Abbott Jr. and his wife, Samantha; and seven great-grandchildren.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Leda Jocklett, Mildred Mattocks, and two infant sisters; and four brothers, Jerome Cusker, Donald Kightlinger, Raymond Kightlinger, and Charles Kightlinger.  Family and friends are invited to call at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home Monday, January 14 from 4-6 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home at 6 p.m. with Pastor Harold Walton officiating.  There will be a private burial at Greendale Cemetery.
