Dorothy I. Niederriter

Dorothy I. Niederriter, age 87, of Conneaut Lake, passed away on March 12, 2015 at Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg, OH. She was born September 10, 1927 in Fryburg, PA, a daughter of Bernard and Irene Weaver Niederriter. Dorothy attended Conneaut Lake High School and graduated in the class of 1945. She was owner and operator of DOT's Beauty Shoppe for 39 years. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church in Conneaut Lake. She was also a board member of the Crawford County Humane Society. She is survived by her daughter Dolcee Hoffman and husband Erik of Springboro, OH; and her granddaughter Mandy Thomas and husband Nicholas of Windham, ME; two great-grandchildren Kathleen Thomas and London Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Beatrice King, and two brothers: LaVern Niederriter and Austin Niederriter. Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday from 2 to 4 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Second St., Conneaut Lake. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 4PM with, Father Jeffrey Lucas of Our Lady Queen of Americas Church, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 Burial will be in the Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
