Dorothy L. Varley

Dorothy Louise Varley, age 87, of The Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, died peacefully Friday, September 15, 2017. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 19, 1930 the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Schick) Schafer. She was married to Edward L. Varley in 1983. He preceded her in death in 2002.             Dorothy was employed at the H.J. Heinz Co. and Gimbels Department Store in Pittsburgh, PA. She enjoyed music, ceramics and was an organist.             She is survived by her son William Schultheis of Meadville, PA, a granddaughter Joel Egyud of Pittsburgh, PA, and a great-granddaughter Nadia Egyud of Pittsburgh, PA             Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Bertha (Schick) and Albert Schafer and her husband Edward L.
