Dorris Motzing

September 14, 1934 — February 27, 2016

  Doris A (Craig) Motzing, age 81 of Conneaut Lake, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community with her family at her side. Doris was born in Linesville at her families home to parents, Richard Craig and Anna (Slozat) Craig on September 14, 1934.  She grew up in Espyville and Graduated from North Shenango High School.  She then Earned her Nursing License from Meadville City Hospital and worked there as a Registered Nurse.  On December 3 , 1955, Doris married Robert C. Motzing and retired from nursing to raise their children.  Robert preceded her in death on June 15, 2012. Doris was of the Protestant Faith, she enjoyed reading, taking walks and gardening. Doris loved being outdoors and especially loved family gatherings. Survivors include a daughter, Carole Kulha and her husband Dave of Winchester, VA. 3 sons; Robert Motzing Jr. and his wife Laurie of Meadville, Richard Motzing and his wife Rita of Conneaut Lake and John Motzing and his wife Brenda of Conneaut Lake.  6 Gandchildren; Robert Motzing and his wife Kim, Rick Motzing Jr. and his wife Katie, Randy Motzing, David Kulha and his wife Kelly, Andrew Motzing Jr. and his companion Dodie and Adam Motzing.  7 Great grandchildren; Cameron, Kristin, Kennedy, Autumn, Riley, Chayda and Ryder.  Doris is also survived by one sister, Pat Mudrak and her husband Alec of Titusville, FLA. Preceding Doris in death are her parents, husband and a sister Jean Klink. Calling hours are on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Dickson Funeral Home. A funeral will be on Tuesday at 11 at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Motzing of Indiana, PA officiating.   Burial will follow at Mumford Cemetery.
