Doug Rose

Doug M. Rose, age 65, of Meadville, PA passed away unexpectedly on October 15, 2024 at home. He was born on August 7, 1959 in Meadville, PA to the late Fletcher and Sandra (DeWoody) Rose.

Doug graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School. He worked for Channellock for over 30 years.  He played in a men’s softball league. He was member of West Mead #2 social hall. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Pirates and Alabama fan. He loved spending time at Mickey’s Central Firehouse, where he had many great friends.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Williams; his niece, Shannon Williams and his nephew, Eric Rose; his aunt, Lois Peters and his uncle, Ronald DeWoody and many cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Charles Rose.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 29, 2024 from 5-9 pm at West Mead #2 VFD, 20607 Ryan Rd., Meadville, PA 16335.
