Dudley Macleod

Dudley A. Macleod, age 78, of Meadville, PA passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday May 20, 2025. He was born on August 4, 1946 in Meadville, PA to the late Cameron A. and Elsie Mabel (Smock) Macleod. He married Charlotte Williams on March 7, 1988. She survives.

Dudley graduated from Meadville High School in 1964. He first worked for Carter Plumbing doing plumbing and electrical work. He then went through the apprenticeship program at Talon to become a toolmaker. He then worked at Tech Tool, Molded Plastics and then retired from Prism after 37 years there.

Dudley was a member and Past Master of Lodge No. 408 Free & Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania,

Past High Priest of Solomon Royal Arch Chapter No. 191 of Pennsylvania, Past Thrice Illustrious Master of Timothy Alden Council No. 60, Royal and Select Master Masons of PA , Past Commander of Northwestern Commandery No. 25 of Knights Templar of PA and a 32 degree member, Valley of Erie, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.  He also received his MSA Award (Meritorious Service Award) and was a member of the Zem Zem Shrine of Erie, PA.

In addition to his wife, Charlotte, he is survived by his daughter, Dawn Olivia Macleod of Alexandria, VA and his step children, Michelle Rodriguez of Mesa, AZ, Fred Rodriquez of Meadville, PA and Michael Robert Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ; his granddaughter, Addison and his step grandchildren, David, Gillian, Brittany and Marilyn and a step great grandson, Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jack Macleod.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Conneaut Lake Sportsman’s Club, 11861 Sportsman Rd. Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 on Sunday June 15, 2025 from 2-5 pm.
