Earl Hamill

Earl Walter Hamill, age 85, of Meadville, PA passed away on April 22, 2022 in Meadville, PA.  He was born on April 18, 1937 in Erie, PA to the late Lester and Florence (Dundon) Hamill.  He married Janice L. Huff on May 11, 1974.  She preceded him in death on May 6, 2008.

Earl worked for General Motors for 30 years.  He retired on January 1, 1987.  He served in the United States Army. He was an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his son, Earl Hamill Jr and his significant other, Penny Zimmer of McKean, PA and his brother, Bill Hamill of Meadville, PA.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lester Hamill Jr and his sister, Grace Hamill.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday May 6, 2022 at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335 from 4-6 pm.  A memorial service will be held at 6 pm.  He will be laid to rest in Edinboro Cemetery.
