Earl R. "Boots" Klink, 89, of Hartstown, PA passed away on August 14, 2014 at his home where he was born and raised. He was born October 29, 1924 in Hartstown, PA the son of William and Anna Krenz Klink. He married Marian L. West on September 5, 1953. She survives. Earl graduated from East Fallowfield High School in 1944. He was a lifelong self-employed farmer. He served as West Fallowfields's secretary and treasurer and was the West Fallowfield Supervisor for 26 years. Earl was a member of the Hartstown Presbyterian Church. Besides his love and hard work on the farm, he enjoyed woodworking, making many pieces of furniture for his wife, children and grandchildren. Earl enjoyed fishing, trapping, hunting and bee keeping. He is survived by his wife Marian, of Hartsrtown, PA a daughter; Diane Helbig and her husband Merle of Hartstown, PA, three sons, Thomas Klink and his wife Rhonda of Jamestown; James Klink and his wife Beverly of Hartstown; Richard Klink and his wife Sandra of Hartstown. Earl is survived by his grandchildren; Rachel Mitchell, Michael Klink and his wife Kathleen, Ryan Klink and his wife Serena, Matthew Klink and his wife Jennifer, Hannah Fuller and her husband Jason, Heather Harmon and her husband Charles, Adam Klink and his wife Anna, Michelle Helbig,Emily Helbig, Cecilyann Klink, Ella Klink, Lindy Klink. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren; Alexandria Klink, Anna Klink, Morgan Klink, Gregory Klink, Brevin Klink, Savannah Wertelet, Allison Harmon, Julia Klink, Emma Fuller, Ella Fuller, Landen Klink, Joshua Harmon, Willow Klink, Jarrett Klink and Kate Fuller. In addition to his parents, Earl; was preceded in death by two sisters; Gertrude Baker and Loretta Rhodes, two brothers; Kent Klink, and an infant brother, a grandson, Nathan Earl Klink and a granddaughter Christine Stallard-Klink. Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday from 4 to 8 PM. and on Saturday from 1 to 2 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316. Family and friends are welcome to attend the funeral service on Saturday at 2 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Frailey of the Hartstown Presbyterian Church and Pastor David Brumagin of the Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Hartstown Cemetery, Hartstown, PA Memorial contributions can be made to the Hartstown Presbyterian Church.
