Earl F. Saeger

Earl F. Saeger, age 88 of Conneaut Lake, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Rolling Fields Nursing Home. He was born August 17, 1926 in Meadville, PA, the son of the late Earl F. Saeger Sr. and Emma Easton Saeger. He married Dennise Irene Leonhart Saeger. He then married Sandra Jane Saeger. She survives. He graduated from Townville High School. He was the Proprietor of Earl Saeger Construction and he also owned Saeger Mobile Home Park. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, having served in Panama. He was Honorably Discharged in 1948. In addition to his wife, Sandra Saeger, who resides at Rolling Fields, Conneautville, PA, he is survived by four sons: Jack Saeger of Ellenton, Florida, and Dan Saeger of Meadville, PA, Christopher Holobar of State College, PA, Don David Kurhan, of Edinboro, PA, three sisters; Shirley Saeger Shaffer of Massillon, Ohio, Elaine Saeger Eaton of Baltimore, Maryland, and Marlene Saeger Lorenz of Canton, Ohio, two brothers,: Gene Saeger of Conneaut Lake, PA and Gerald Saeger of Mansfield, Ohio. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his former wife, three brothers; Robert Saeger, Lloyd Saeger and Kenneth Saeger and by two sisters; Ruth Saeger Sullivan and Louise Saeger Shaffer. Family and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 Full military Honors will be conducted at 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, by VFW Post 2006, Meadville, PA Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
