Edgar C. Guiher

Edgar Caylor Guiher, 70, of Conneaut Lake, PA, passed away on April 24, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Clarion, where he developed a lifelong love of skiing, barefooting, boating, and all that was part of the Clarion River and Conneaut Lake.

Edgar was the owner and manager of E.L. Guiher Ford, a successful business that he ran for many years. He was a skilled mechanic who worked on all types of vehicles, and he also worked at other shops such as Monro Muffler, where he retired from. His dedication to ensuring the safety of people and families was just one way he demonstrated his kind-hearted nature.

Edgar was also an accomplished cook and gardener. He took great pride in sharing his sauces and culinary creations with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a big-hearted man who showed his love in many ways.

Edgar is survived by his children, Edgar L Guiher II, Sara Guiher d'Argy, Jacob Guiher, Victoria McHenry, Sheila McHenry and Virginia Guiher; sister, Robin Guiher Morrison; 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Louise Guiher, his sister, Hope Guiher, and his wife of over 20 years, Linda McHenry, who passed away one week after her beloved husband.
