Edna Mae Ferrante

            Edna Mae Sechrist Ferrante, age 80 of Meadville, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Park Avenue Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born July 10, 1935 in Erie, PA the daughter of the late Theodore Sechrist and Fern McGee Sechrist.             She graduated from Academy High School in Erie. Edna was a very talented singer and enjoyed watching TV and doing crossword puzzles.                         Edna is survived by her special friend and companion of 38 beautiful years together, Clint Chess of Meadville, PA, two daughters: Coreen Ferrante of Palm Bay, FL, Dina Ferrante Watson of Meadville, PA, three sons: Tony Ferrante and his wife Amelda of Virginia Beach, VA, James Balduf of Erie, PA and Jeffery Balduf of Erie, PA, four grandchildren: Gary Ferrante, Domenic Ferrante, Devin Watson and Danni Watson, two great-grandchildren: Logan Ferrante and Lana Ferrante, her sister: Linda Sharrar of Erie, PA, her brother: Ted Sechrist of Canton, OH, her companion’s children who were like her own: three sons: Brian Chess and his fiancée Liza Wagner of Grove City, PA, Kevin Chess and his wife Lisa of Ashtabula, OH, and Clinton Chess Jr. and his companion Tina Boyda of Meadville, PA, six grandchildren: Austin Chess, Westin Chess, Steven Hollen, Brendan Chess, Carissa Chess and Morgan Chess, a sister-in-law: Christine Woodruff of Meadville, PA and Mary Louise Warden of Las Vegas, NV. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.             Edna was preceded in death by her father: Theodore Sechrist and her mother: Fern McFadden.                         There will be no calling hours.
