Edna Hochstetler

Edna Lucille Hochstetler, age 77, of Williamsfield, OH passed away peacefully at home on Thursday April 20, 2023. She was born on April 27, 1945 in Sugar Creek, OH to the late Manasses R. and Edna (Mullet) Yoder. She married Owen E. Hochstetler on October 5, 1974. He survives.

Edna was a house wife and helped on the family farm. She was of the Christian faith.

Edna was an avid reader and she loved growing roses in her garden.

In addition to her husband of 48 years, Owen, she is survived by one daughter, Kerri Hudnell of Warren, OH and one son, Kevin Hochstetler and his wife, Annetta of Conneaut Lake, PA; 3 grandchildren, Abraham, Elizabeth and Caleb Hochstetler; 4 sisters, Diane Miller and her husband, Irvin of New Philadelphia, OH, Lavina Mullet of Sugar Creek, OH, Rebecca Miller and her husband, John of Millersburg, OH and Betty Miller and her husband, Eli of Dover, OH; her sister-in-law, Viola Yoder and lots of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her brother, Monroe Yoder and her brother, Melvin Yoder and his wife, Mary and her sister, Mary Jane Yoder, her sister, Elsie Schrock and her husband, Owen, her sister, Emma Schlabach and her husband, Albert and her sister, Ora Miller and her husband, Roman and her brother-in-law, Andy Mullet.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday April 24, 2023 at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2 ^nd St. Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 from 11 am- 1 pm. Funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 1 pm with Pastor Ken Hough officiating. Edna will be laid to rest at Sunnyside Mennonite Cemetery.
