Edward Y. Ashbaugh

Edward Y. Ashbaugh, age 71 of Saegertown, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family after an extended illness on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at his residence. Edward was born on March 26, 1943 in Meadville, PA the son of the late Barbara Katulich Kiesel. He married Debbie Wise on October 19, 1984. He was a graduate of Meadville High School. He had retired as the owner of Centennial Tool of Meadville, PA after 30 years. He attended New Beginnings Church of God in Meadville, PA. He was of the Christian Faith. He was a member of the Protected Benevolent and Protected Order of Elks #219, Meadville, PA. Edward loved cooking, fishing, shooting trap, hunting, camping and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie Ashbaugh, a daughter; Jennifer Ross and her husband, Bryan of McKean, PA, four sons; Shawn Ashbaugh and his wife Lori of Guys Mills, PA , Darin Ashbaugh and his wife Kristen of Blooming Valley, PA, Scott Ashbaugh and his wife Jessica of Saegertown, PA, and Brian Ashbaugh and his fiancé Michelle of Saegertown, PA, ten grandchildren, Andrea, Carolyn, Barbara, Karl, McKenzie, Karleigh, Emilynn, Aliza, Scott Jr. and Cameron, and two great-granddaughters Scarlett and Adalyn, a brother; Robert Kiesel of Guys Mills, PA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Kiesel and his stepfather, Leslie Kiesel A memorial service will be held at a later date.
