Edwina Jones

Edwina S. Jones, age 70, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully at home on Friday January 30, 2026. She was born on February 18, 1955 in Meadville, PA to the late Frank C. Sr. and Betty J. (McCully) Rogers. She married Philip Jones Sr. on March 31, 1973. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2021.

Edwina graduated from Saegertown High School. She worked as a machine operator at Fostermation for 14 years. She then worked in dietary at Meadville Medical Center and as a lunch monitor at First District Elementary School.

She was a woman of faith. In her younger years, Edwina was on the Meadville YMCA Swimming and Diving team. Later on, she enjoyed doing water aerobics at the Rec Complex with Silver Sneakers. She volunteered at Tamarack Wildlife with her mother and son. She was very proud of her grandkids-they were the love of her life.

Edwina is survived by her daughter, Valerie Jones of Meadville, PA and Philip Jones Jr. and his wife, Katie of FL; two grandsons, Jared Jones and Bricen Jones and two brothers, Frank Rogers Jr. and Richard Rogers both of Meadville, PA.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday February 7, 2026 from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Loren Little officiating at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335.
