Eleanore Wills

Eleanore “Ellie” Wills, age 84, of Rolling Fields Eldercare Community of Conneautville, PA passed away peacefully on October 19, 2021 with her granddaughters by her side at Meadville Medical Center.  She was born on March 5, 1937 in Meadville, PA to the late Oliver Brock and Thelma Cass and Edgar Nageotte.  She married Richard E. Wills Sr. on May 14, 1960.  He preceded her in death on November 3, 2017.

Ellie graduated from Meadville High School.  She earned her Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education at Edinboro University.  She worked as a substitute teacher and a CCD teacher and was also a homemaker.

Ellie attended St. Agatha’s Church.  She was an avid gardener and reader.  She enjoyed the outdoors and biking on trails and she loved her terrier dogs.

Ellie is survived by her daughter, Marianne Prell and her husband, Bob of Jamestown, PA; her son, Lt. Col. Richard E. Wills Jr and his wife, Karla of Midland, VA and her son-in-law, Steven Schlipf of Meadville, PA; grandchildren, Ryan Schlipf, Brittany Tenon, Benjamin Schlipf, Jillianne Wills, Jesse Wills and Lee Wills; eight great grandchildren and one sister, Sandy Kightlinger of Meadville, PA.

Ellie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wills; daughter, Jeannie Schlipf; granddaughter, Nicole Schlipf and sister, Jane Mande.

There will be no services.
