Elizabeth Ann Bradley

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Bradley, age 85, of Meadville, passed away peacefully, Friday November 6, 2015, at the Meadville Medical Center. Betty, to her many friends and customers, was born September 26, 1930, in Lilly, Cambria County , PA. , the daughter of Marvin James Bradley and Cecelia (Beck) Bradley Betty was a graduate of Lilly Central High School. In 1964 she moved to Meadville, and began working at Ricci's Restaurant. Later she worked at Gotto's Restaurant, subsequently Valenti's, later she worked at Dutch Girl Cleaners and then at Robbies (downtown mall) until her retirement. Betty was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church. She loved being with her restaurant customers, and sharing conversations with them. Betty was well respected by all she served, and took pride in her work. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, and crossword puzzles as well as time spent with her puppies, Buddy and Tessa. Betty is survived by 2 sons: Michael Bradley of Meadville; Shawn (Jennifer) Bradley of Meadville; 2 sisters Carol Bradley of Lomita, California, and Kathleen Casillo of Heartsville, N.C.; a sister-in-law Norma Jean Bradley of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother Gerald (Christine) Bradley of Altoona, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by: 4 brothers- Morgan Bradley (and his wife Joyce), Thomas Bradley, Eugene Bradley, and Robert Bradley; also 3 sisters: Diane Bradley, Irene Bates, and Marie Thiess. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from noon until 2 PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street Meadville, PA 16335. A funeral will follow at 2 PM, in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, or a charity of the donors choice
