Elizabeth Craft

Elizabeth “Betty” Craft, age 91, of Meadville, PA passed away on Monday May 1, 2023 at the Crawford County Care Center. She was born on October 7, 1931 in Oil City, PA to the late Richard and Elizabeth (Moore) Franklin. She married Harry C. Craft on October 5, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1986.

Elizabeth was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Meadville. She worked at the Avtex in Meadville for 20 years, the Crawford County Care Center in Saegertown for 6 years, the Quality Living Center in Saegertown for 7 years and for the Crawford County Leap, Inc. for 11 years.

Elizabeth is survived by a son, Steven Michael Craft of Walnut Cove, NC; three grandchildren, Clinton Craft and his wife, Tina of Meadville, Felicia Brass and her husband, Edward of Plant City, FL, and Stephen Craft of Meadville; 7 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Travis and Kendall Craft of Meadville and Dustin, Destiny, Marrie and Edward Brass of FL and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Barr, a brother, Richard Franklin, a son, Harry Lon Craft and a daughter-in-law, Barb Craft.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday May 4, 2023 from 2:00-5:00 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335. Funeral service will take place at 5:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Loren Little officiating. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at the New Lebanon Cemetery.
