Elizabeth Froncillo

Elizabeth M. Froncillo, age 92, of Meadville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.  She was born on May 8, 1928 in Meadville to the late Dominic Petruolo and Theresa (Palmiero) Petruolo.

On June 19, 1947 she married Joseph Froncillo.  He preceded her in death on April 24, 1987.  She was a homemaker until later in life, then worked at Allegheny College in housekeeping.  She was a lifetime member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.  She loved vegetable and flower gardening, spending time with family and her grandkids.  For several years after her husband passed, she enjoyed traveling with her friends.

Elizabeth is survived by one daughter, Frances McClain and her husband, David of Cochranton, PA and one son, Frank J. Froncillo and his wife, Pamela of West Chester, PA; five grandsons, Scott C. McClain and his wife, Nicolle, Mark J. McClain and his wife, Bernadette, Anthony J. Froncillo and his wife, Luci, Matthew Froncillo and his wife, Krissy and Michael E. Froncillo; three great-grandchildren, Regann McClain, Lyla Froncillo and Cooper Froncillo and one brother, Anthony Petruolo and his wife, Anna of Meadville, PA.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Burton Petruolo and two sisters, Angelina Petruso and Mary Bartholomew.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jeffrey Lucas officiating.  Interment will immediately follow at St. Brigid Cemetery.
