Elizabeth Joan Meyer

Elizabeth (Bee Jay) Meyer, age 85 longtime resident of Conneaut Lake, PA, passed away, Monday, August 19, 2013, after a brief illness and in the arms of her loving family. Bee Jay is the daughter of the late Henry and Jane Heineman. She was married to the late Lou Meyer. She was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, and a graduate of Perdue University with a degree in Home Economics. She was a talented knitter, and enjoyed teaching knitting classes. She was of the Presbyterian Faith. Bee jay was a member of the Country Club of Meadville, and an avid golfer and bowler. She was most proud of her hole-in-one on number 6 in 2002. She was the cherished mother of Bob Meyer and his wife Nancy, of Bethel Park, PA, and the beloved grandmother of Kelli and Tim of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also dearly loved by her granddogs, Lexi and Maddie. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4PM and 6 until the time of the funeral service at 8 PM, at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA, with the Rev. Mark Frailey, of the Fifth Street Presbyterian Church, officiating A Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, in the Chapel at the Allegheny County Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Avenue, Allison Park, PA 15101. Burial will be in the Allegheny County Memorial Park.
