Ellen Powell

Ellen Powell, age 73, of Cochranton, PA passed away on August 12, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 19, 1948 in the Titusville area to the late Bruce Baker and Corinne Kellogg.  She married Melvin Powell on March 30, 1967.  He preceded her in death on April 29, 2015.

Ellen retired from Leech Tool in 2019 where she had been employed for over 30 years. Cooking and baking for her family was a great passion of hers.  She was affectionately known as “Grandma Good Food.”

She is survived by one daughter, Lonna Robinson and her husband, Jason of Guys Mills, PA; two sons, Bruce Powell and his wife, Tammy of Cochranton, PA and Jason Powell and his wife, Chrissy of Meadville, PA; eight grandchildren, Brandon Kegley and his wife, Lindsey, Tyler Powell, Joel Robinson, Erica Robinson, Jordan Powell, Dakota Powell, Marissa Powell and Tasha Evans and one great-grandchild, Rorie; three sisters, two brothers and several sisters and brothers-in-law.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

As per Ellen’s wishes, there will be no services.
