Elmer A. Tucker

Elmer A. Tucker, age 63 of Guys Mills, Pa died Friday May 17, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center. Elmer was born on October 30, 1949 in Titusville, PA, the son of the late Raymond Tucker Sr. and Margaret (Wilson) Tucker. He married Kristie Holsopple. She survives. He had been a logger working in the woods. He was Vietnam Veteran having served his country in Vietnam. He loved playing his guitar and especially enjoyed playing Johnny Cash's song "Walk the Line" for Shawna. He also had written a few of his own songs. Elmer loved to fish, and loved to play poker. He enjoyed planting the garden, and had always wanted to plant strawberries. He wanted to start his own business. He loved to gather items up and dismantle them to save and scrap. He was very active in Shawna's life and her activities. He is survived by his wife, Kristie Holsopple of Guys Mills, PA; a daughter, Shawna Holsopple at home; a son, Mike Tucker and his wife Mary of Johnsonburg, PA; three grandchildren; Jesse Tucker, Mallaki Tucker both of Johnsonburg, PA., and Chase Tucker of Union City, PA; a sister Abby Tucker and a brother Carl Tucker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Elmer Tucker Jr., and three sisters, Violet, Nancy, and by two brothers, Meril and Raymond Jr. A memorial service will b held at a later date and will be announced.
