Eloise Paula Haase

Eloise Paula Haase age 87 of Juniper Village, Meadville, Pa and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Juniper Village. Eloise was born September 16, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Louis T.G. and Estella Doerr Haase. She was a l944 graduate of Oliver High School, and received her Bachelor's degree in Education from Chatham College, and obtained her Master's Degree from PennState University. She retired after 37 years of service with the Northway Elementary School of the North Hills School District. She was a member of the Old St. Paul's Church and sang in the choir. She was a very active member with the church. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Conneaut Lake, PA when she would visit the area. Eloise was a member of the Pi Lambda Theta International Honor Society, a member of the Professional Association in Education since 1953. She was a member of the Church Womens United Club. She had traveled extensively all over the world, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed doing the "Juniper Jinglers" She is survived by a nephew, Mark L. Haase and his wife, Rosalie of Conneaut Lake, PA, and their children, Chantal, Brielle and Aleigha; a niece, Cathy Votino and her husband, John and their children, John and his wife Kelly, Maria and her fiancé Kevin, Nathan and Caitlyn, and two great-great nephews, John and James, her sister-in-law Claire Haase of Conneaut Lake, PA In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Louis D. Haase. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 10 AM until 12 Noon, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 240 North Third Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316. The funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday at the Church with Rev. Jay Sterling and Pastor David Brumagin, of Trinity United Methodist church, officiating. Interment will be in the South Cemetery, Butler, PA Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, Rocco R.
