Esther Marie Hodson

Esther Marie Hodson, age 88, formerly of Williams Street, Meadville, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Rolling Fields, Conneautville, PA She was born February 25, 1925 in Westmoreland County, the daughter of the late Hezekiah and Elsie (Brewer) Howell. She married John H. Hodson. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1968. Esther was a homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed playing Bingo. She especially enjoyed sharing her smile. She is survived by two daughters, Audrey Craig of Punxsutawney, PA and Cathy Miller and her husband, Jim of Meadville, PA; two sons, John Hodson II of Conneautville, PA and James Hodson and his wife, Anne of Conneautville, PA; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert Howell and Richard Stephens. In addition to her parents and her husband, Esther was preceded in death by a son Ted Hodson, a son-in-law, Larry Craig, a sister and best friend, Mable Klingensmith and three brothers, Grover Howell, John Howell and Art Stephens.
