Eugene L Gaw

Eugene L. Gaw, 78 of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away at home on February 14, 2019.  He was born April 8, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late, Herberton Gaw and Martha Isadore Gaw.  He married Lillis (Kean) Gaw on October 13, 1963.  She survives.

Eugene was self-employed doing excavating work and also worked at Damascus Tube in Greenville, PA.

He attended the East Fallowfield Methodist Church and helped at the East Fallowfield Fair booth.  He enjoyed his 4 poodles and a horse named Honey Bee.  Gene and Lil enjoyed riding bikes together.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lillis Gaw; a sister Margaret Tredway of Virginia, as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Herberton Gaw, brother-in-law, Daniel Kean and his wife, Lucille and brother-in-law, Don Tredway.

Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Corner of the East Fallowfield Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will take place at the Rocky Glenn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
