F. Morris Pratt

             F. Morris Pratt, age 87, of Meadville, PA passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the Arista Care at Park Avenue, Meadville, PA.                 He was born on January 22, 1930 in Meadville, PA. The son of the late Fred L. Pratt and Elinore Dimmick Pratt. Morris married Violet H. Kuhn on June 28, 1953. She survives.             Morris attended Meadville schools. He then went on to attend Erie County Technical Center, and Crawford County Career & Technical Center. Morris later earned his Volunteer Firefighter Certification. Morris retired from Advanced Cast Products Inc after 40 years of service. He was affiliated with the Stone Methodist Church in Meadville, PA.             Morris was a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He loved spending time with his grandkids, fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, and playing cards with his lifetime friends. Morris was a member of Vernon Township Fire Department, and was a former firefighter. Following his retirement, Morris took up woodworking as a hobby.             Morris is survived by his wife Violet Pratt of Meadville, a daughter: Gloria Reichel and her husband Bill of Meadville, a son: Retired U.S. Navy Force Master Chief Gregory M. Pratt and his wife Jane of Helotus, TX, two grandson: Christopher Reichel and his wife Jess of Meadville, and U.S. Army SPC. Zachary Reichel and his wife Kaitie of Fort Sill, OK, three great-grandchildren: Noah and Madison Reichel of Meadville, and Aiden Reichel of Fort Sill, OK, a step-granddaughter: Sabrina Perez and her husband Rick, three step great-grandchildren: Rene, Isabella, and Roman, all of Corpus Christi, TX, a step-grandson: Rene Olaide of Las Vegas, NV. Morris is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.             In addition to his parents Morris was preceded in death by a brother: Gale Pratt, maternal grandparents: Nelson and Minnie Dimmick, paternal grandparents: Fred and Minnie Pratt.             Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
