Frances "Teri" Vindettia Pottorf

Frances "Teri" Vindettia Pottorf, age 76 of Meadville, PA passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 24, 1939 in Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ernest Clarence and Nancy Emily Tadlock Wilson. She married Andrew Pottorf on February 1, 1958. He preceded her death on April 23, 2007. Teri was of the Christian Faith. She loved singing and making jewelry. She made quilts that she gave to the Yolanda Barco Oncology Institute here in Meadville. She loved red cardinals, whether she was watching them fly around or if they were part of the attire. She is survived by her two sons; Richard Pottorf of Meadville, PA, and Raymond Pottorf and his wife Sandy of Conneaut Lake, PA, three daughters: Rhonda Gale and her husband Ray of Farmdale,Ohio, Renea Becker and her husband Arnold of Conneautville, PA and Ramona Sheffer and her husband Tom of Burney, California, fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, a sister; Maudie Murray of California, a beloved niece and special friend Vaida Morford and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Teri was preceded in death by four sisters; Ernestine Reed, Sue Swanson, Jean Davis and Kay McEachon, and by two brothers; Clifford Wilson and Clarence Wilson. Family and friend are welcome to call at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA on Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of the funeral service at 10:30 AM with Pastor Joel Weck of the First Baptist Church of Linesville, officiating.
