Frank Santoro, age 82, of Meadville, passed away on Sunday January 18, 2015, at Wesbury United Methodist Community. He was born June 1, 1932 in Meadville, PA the son of the late Frank and Amelia Trucco Santoro. He married Josephine M. Caponi on May 5,1956. She survives. Frank was a graudate of Meadville High School and EdinboroState College (1961) with a B.A. in education. He then attended Westminster College where he earned his educational administration certification. He retired from the Penncrest School District in 1994, as the Maplewood Elementary School Principal. He had served in the United States Army National Guard during the Korean Conflict. After retirement Frank and Jo enjoyed traveling, gardening, and their grandchildren. In addition to his wife Josephine, her is survived by 3 sons: Steven and his daughter Jordan Lane of Waynesville, N.C.; Frank Jr. and his wife Cathi and their son Elliot of Fort Myers, Florida; and Paul , and his wife Lisa of Columbia, N.J. Also surviving are 2 daughters Catherine Constantinovich and her husband Michael and their daughter Jenna of Meadville, and Claudia Santoro of Erie, PA. ; and a sister Antoinette Allegretti of Meadville; also many wonderful nieces and nephews. Preceeding Frank in death were his parents and 2 brothers: Angelo Santoro and Anthony Santoro; and a brother-in-law John Allegretti and a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Santoro. At Frank's request services will be private. Memorials can be made to the Wolves Club Scholarship Fund.
