Franklin Edward Ashcraft

  Franklin Edward Ashcraft, age 83, of Conneaut Lake, Pa, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the Crawford County Care Center. Frank was born on March 21, 1934 at the home of his grandparents, Frank and Grace Blystone of Skeltontown, PA.  He was the son of the late William E. Ashcraft and Esther P. Blystone Ashcraft . Frank married Anna Mae Johnston On Feb. 16, 1957. She preceded him in death. Frank worked for Erie Lackawanna Railroad for many years. He had a love for fixing up old cars, and drag racing. He is at peace now and will be in our hearts. Frank is survived by 2 sons: Randy Edward Ashcraft of Meadville and Brian Lee Ashcraft and his wife Vanessa of Lake City, FL, three grandchildren: Brandon Lee Jones of Meadville, Tyler James Aschraft of Meadville, and Brittany Nichole Ashcraft of Lake City, FL, a sister: Allene Hatzel of Conneaut Lake, PA. In addition to his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death  by his brother Harold Lee Ashcraft. In accordance with Frank’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services.
