Fred Humes, Jr.

Fred Curtis Humes, Jr., resident of Woodcock Borough and formerly of Saegertown and Cochranton, age 59, passed away at home on Sunday May 2, 2021.  He was born on October 1, 1961 in Meadville, PA to Dolores G. (Floyd) and the late Fred C. Humes, Sr.

He was a 1979 graduate of Saegertown High School and a 1981 graduate of Alliance College with a degree in Tool Design.  He worked in the tool & die industry as a CNC programmer.

Fred enjoyed drawing, reading and music, especially The Robert Cray Band.   He was an avid golfer who loved the game.  He also enjoyed gardening and landscaping.  He was a Cleveland Browns fan.

He is survived by his mother, Dolores Humes; two daughters, Morgan Humes and her companion, Trenton Tinko and Brooke Beck and her husband, Luke; one son, Jesse Anderson; former spouse, Vicki Humes; grandchildren, Colton, Kylie and Carter Beck; sisters, Shelly Woge and her husband, Rudolph and Suzanne Pike; uncle, Howard Floyd, Jr.; aunts, Betty Floyd, Joyce Sciere and Macie McElhaney; great aunt, Shirley Humes; nephews, Nicholas Woge and Tristan Pike; nieces, Michelle Woge and Jocelyn Pike; great nephews, Kellen Manning and Richard Corbin III and great niece, Evelynn Kelly and his beloved best friend, his cat Nathaniel.

Fred was preceded in death by his father, Fred Humes, Sr.; his son, Robert Anderson III; his nephew, Tad Gustafson and his great niece, Natasha Woge.

Services were private at the convenience of the family.
