Frederick Gosnell, Sr.

July 4, 1959 — October 6, 2020

On Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 Frederick Allen Gosnell Sr., loving father, grandpa and boyfriend was called to Heaven at the age of 61 after a short battle with cancer at the hospital in Grove City, PA. He was born on July 4th, 1959 in Meadville to the late Russell Allen Gosnell and survivor Evelyn M. Mattocks.

Fred was an employee at J.C. Ziccardi Building Inc. of Conneaut Lake. He was a member of

Station 27. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing and his favorite hobby was shooting pool and spending

time with his family. His favorite football team was Pittsburgh Steelers. Fred had touched so

many people; he was a great daddy, friend, grandpa, all around a wonderful man.

Fred is survived by his son, Frederick Allen Gosnell Jr. of Eustis, FL and his daughter, Patricia Hollis (Babygirl) and her fiancé, Chris Conger of Clarksville, TN;  step-daughter, Kay of

Meadville, PA and step-daughter, Brittany Lee Frantz of Houston, TX.  Additionally he is survived by his loving girlfriend and companion, Judy Cornell of Meadville, PA; five grandchildren, Breanna L. Hollis, Blayne A.Hollis, Bryce J. Hollis of Clarksville,TN, Harley (Sweetheart) of Meadville, PA and Carson James Frantz of Houston, TX; three sisters, Evelyn L. Young and her husband,  Charles of Pittsburgh,PA,  Brenda L.Muchinhaupt and her husband, Robert of New Martinsville, WV, Barby J. Confer and her husband, Dave of Meadville, PA and four brothers, Wallace R. Gosnell of Meadville,PA,  Russell E. Gosnell and his wife, Charlene of Meadville, PA,  Floyd A. Gosnell of Meadville, PA and Paul A. Gosnell and his wife, Sue of Meadville, PA along with lots of nieces and nephews and his fur babies that he loved dearly, Budman, Friend and Whiskers.

Fred was preceded in death by his dad, Russell A. Gosnell.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date. They will post another ad with all

the details and notify family and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with final expenses.
