Fredrick Gracey

Fredrick L. Gracey, age 61, of Meadville, PA passed away on February 2, 2022 after an illness at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.  He was born on August 8, 1960 in Meadville, PA to the late William O. Gracey and Shirley L. Yeager.

Fred graduated from MASH in 1979.  He was a case manager at CHAPS for 33 years. (He was the longest tenured employee there.)  He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews doing crafts, exploring and going on lots of adventures.  He also enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Nord, going on walks and bike rides on Ernst Trail and Woodcock Trail, going to the movies and fishing.

Fred is survived by his sisters and brothers, Millie Colinear, Christopher Gracey, Kim Burson and Arthur Gracey all of Meadville, PA; his nieces and nephews, Shawn A. Gracey, Nikki D. Burson, Austin M. Burson, Cheyenne R. Long, Jon R. Burson and Jessica M. Gracey all of Meadville and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, S. Lee Ingmire; aunts and uncles and his loyal dog, King Too, who will be meeting him at the rainbow bridge.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday February 6, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335 and on Monday February 7, 2022 from 11 am until the time of the service at noon.

Fred will be laid to rest at Denny Cemetery.
