Gail F. Hannold

Gail Fulton Hannold, age 70, of Meadville, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Transitional Care Unit at Meadville Medical Center.  He was born January 17, 1946 in Meadville, PA the son of the late Elmer Fulton Hannold and Ouida Arlene Kightlinger.  He married Carol Ann Stephens on December 30, 1978.  She survives.             Gail attended Meadville Schools and graduated in 1963 from Meadville High School.  Gail worked many jobs in his life starting with delivering milk and working in the laundry at City Hospital.  He worked at Talon for 30 years till they closed their doors.  He then went to work at the Crawford County Home for the Elderly, then at Multi Plastics and finally at Channellock until his retirement in 1999.             Gail was of the Lutheran Faith.  He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006 in Meadville, PA. He enjoyed hunting and camping. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family, children, grandchildren, friends and his cat, Clyde.             He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol A. Hannold of Meadville, PA, two sons: Jade Patrick Hannold, David Joseph Stephens and his wife Lisa, a daughter: Lisa Ann Stephens, four grandsons: Jarred Hannold, Tyler Sherman, Bailey Sherman and Matthew Stephens, one granddaughter: Johna Dilimone, two brothers: Mike Thorton and his wife Beverly of Stone Mountain, GA and Patrick Hannold of Saegertown, PA.  He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.             In addition to his parents, Gail was preceded in death by two brothers: Tim Hannold and John Hannold.             There will be no calling hours or services.             Please sign Gail’s online guestbook at hatheway-tedesco.com Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA 16335
