Garrett Andrew Shope

Garrett Andrew Shope, age 22, of Saegertown, passed November 2, 2013. Garrett is the son of Douglas and Linda D. (Shorey) Shope, also of Saegertown. He was born October 5, 1991 in Meadville; graduated from Cambridge Springs High School in 2010; and was majoring in psychology at Edinboro University. Survivors include: Garrett's parents; grandparents: Benjamin and Ruth Shope, of Saegertown and Charles Shorey of Meadville. Three sisters: Heather Blank of Cambridge Springs; Erika Masters (Bruce) of Venango, Leigh Hornberger (Tim) of Erie. Three nieces and 6 nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Garrett was preceded in death by his grandmother Patricia Shorey, and his paternal aunt Joyce Seitz. A visitation for Garrett will be held Monday, November 4th, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8, at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home of Tuesday, November 5th, 2013,at 11AM with the Rev. Philip Torre, Pastor of the First Assembly of God, Officiating.
